Hi, my name is Mr. Rodriguez I am excited to join University Academy Charter School staff as the SPED Math teacher.

I'm originally from New York City and grew up on the border of Washington Heights and Harlem. I went to High School in The Bronx.

I graduated from Rutgers and went to work for a chemical company and later on at a Telecommunications company. 

I've taught math at different levels like middle school, high school, and College. 

I'm a family man and live in Northern Bergen County with my Wife Bonnie and our Three Children.

I've coached chess for about 20 years and still compete in local tournaments.

In addition, I've freelanced as a Salsa Musician and I am currently finishing some Musical projects.
