Welcome to Chemistry, Agriculture, and Anatomy&Physiology Classes 2024-2025

Welcome students, parents, and guardians to my University Academy Charter High School web page. My name is Ms. Flabia Recinos. This is my first year teaching at UA, but my second within the building. I completed my student teaching at UACHS last year under the guidance of Mrs. Bassil, graduating with my B.A in Biology w/ K-12 certification.  I am currently working on completing a Masters in Chemistry.

During the 2024-2025 school year, I teach two sections of Chemistry, Agriculture and Food Insecurity. and Anatomy and Physiology. I look forward to working with you to ensure the success of each student.

I will be using Google Classroom and Google Slides to post daily lessons. assignments, materials. During the classes, students will receive instruction, practice work, and guidance from the teacher.

Daily work includes but not limited to;
  • Do-Now question
  • PowerPoint presentation for a new lesson, worksheet, or online activity
  • A closing assessment or worksheet
  • Possible homework

Daily work must be submitted on Google Classroom or shown in person in order to be graded.

Missing assignments will reduce the overall average for the quarter. Don't fall behind, and remember to ask for help when needed.

Late assignments will follow this policy;
